Lansing, Michigan (WLNS) – Starting April 4, Waverley public schools will make masks optional for students, the county announced on Facebook.
The county said that if the cases start to grow again, the mandate for the mask could be returned.
The Colt Center for Preschool Education will continue to introduce masks as several students are under five and cannot be vaccinated.
“Individual choices will be respected by all,” the district said in a statement on social media.
Waverly schools will continue to perform seating and report cases to the health department.
