Bridge reporters Ron French and Isabelle Lohmann were joined by Catherine Strank, a professor of educational policy at Michigan State University College of Education; Tanya Pitkina, director Michigan Parent Teachers Association (PTA) Board of Directors; and Jeremy Singer, Ph.D. educational leadership and policy research at Wayne University and researcher for Detroit Partnership for Educational Research.
The monthly series Bridge’s Lunch Break is dedicated to current topics facing our state. Preliminary discussions included an examination New Michigan redirection maps, The Michigan Elderly Care Crisis, COVID mandates and education K-12, mental health of youth in Michiganand the impact of climate change in Michigan.
