CHARLOTTE, Michigan – Farmer Charlotte, a realtor, beloved father and husband of Jeremy Drosha, died Friday night after suffering severe burns from an explosion at a home earlier this week, the Drosha family confirmed on Facebook on Saturday.

On Tuesday, Jeremy and his four-year-old daughter Aubrey were at home in the 2000 quarter S Steward Rd. when the house exploded. Aubrey suffered minor injuries, but Jeremy was taken to a local hospital with second- and third-degree burns to more than 60% of his body.

Jeremy, his wife Jennifer and their three children lost everything in the blast. Jeremy’s cousin, Adam Drosha it was believed that the explosion was caused by a gas pipeline leak inside the house.

In the days after the blast, a community in mid-Michigan banded together to support the family through Go Fund Me and Clothing through the nonprofit Charlotte Future Farmers of America. Go Fund Me page shows that more than $ 50,000 has been donated so far.
