GRAND REPIDS, Michigan – Beth Fisher, Chief Development Officer Mel Trotter Ministries has joined FOX17 to discuss the art auction and experience, which will take place on March 24 at 6 p.m.
The auction will feature works by local artists at the Heartside Art Ministry and the entire community, as well as donated works from personal collections. Many items will be available at a silent auction, and individual items will be sold live during the event.
Proceeds from the auction will go to a day center operation at the Heartside Ministry, a division of Mel Trotter’s ministry. “We are very excited about this new event and the positive impact it can have on our community,” said Beth Fisher, Mel Trotter’s Chief Promotion Officer. “This event will be a great way to recognize the artistic talents of many people in our community and help us greatly celebrate those talents.”
Representatives for the auction will include paintings, sculptures, photographs, as well as experiences offered by local venues, such as wine tastings combined with a local restaurant, a local sports package and personal experiences of the in-house chef with his friends.
The Art & Experience auction will take place at High Five GR, 19 LaGrave Avenue SE.
Participation in the event is free, but it is limited. To respond to participate or become a sponsor, visit www.meltrotter.org/auction.
