HUSTAN (WVLA) – The FBI hopes to talk to victims across the country who may have been contacted online by a 37-year-old Texas man accused of exploiting young girls for years.

Patrick Tran of Cypress has been accused of sexually exploiting children, possession of child pornography, and coercion and seduction. He was awaiting trial on Tuesday, according to a press release from the Justice Department’s Houston office.

Authorities say Tran may have used the nickname “Reggie Smith” or the Snapchat username Travis_Story20 to attract hundreds of underage women for more than a decade. Perhaps he also used Omegle to contact the girls.

According to the accusations, Tran forced them to make and send him videos with their sexual nature. The FBI says Tran portrayed himself in the video as a black man with short hair, sunglasses, a necklace and no shirt.

Officers initially arrested Tran after the woman reported finding her 10-year-old daughter standing naked in front of her iPad, allegedly at Chan’s behest.

According to the FBI, Tran had about 4,000 videos from webcams where underage girls were involved in sexual acts.

Authorities believe his victims may be across the country and are seeking help in identifying potential juvenile victims to help with the ongoing investigation.

If you believe you are a victim or have any information about such potential victims, you are asked to complete a short, secure questionnaire here.

If convicted, he faces life in prison.
