A teenager from Eastpoint, who went missing on Sunday, was found safe in Sagina early Wednesday morning.

Eastpoint Police Lt. Col. Robert Kunigsman said 16-year-old Alyssa Marie Shot is now receiving “much-needed medical care” at Sagina Hospital.

On Tuesday, police issued a release changing Shot’s status from missing to missing and threatened with disappearance because they knew she did not need medication and probably needed medical attention.

Shot was last seen at her Eastpoint residence at about 1:56 a.m. Sunday when she allegedly stole her brother’s 2016 bard Patriot jeep and fled the area.
