WESTERN MICHIGAN – The time we’ve all been waiting for … spring heat is back in Western Michigan this week! The air pattern at the top level is changing this week, bringing a rush of warm air from the southwest. You can finally give up winter gear for a couple of days.

The average temperature on Monday, March 14, is 44 degrees. The average high temperature by Sunday, March 20, will rise to 46 degrees. The high temperature on Monday and Tuesday will be about 50 degrees. Wednesday and Thursday the heat really comes in! In the middle of the week the maximum will rise to about 60 degrees.

This working week, including March 14 to 20, temperatures will be well above average. Looking ahead, next week also looks warmer than average. The latest Climate Forecasting Center The forecast says the temperature is likely to be above average from March 20 to 26.
