GRAND REPIDS, Michigan – Spring has come, and the Western Michigan Tourist Association offers you several activities to help you enjoy the season.

Spring means maple syrup season around Western Michigan, so head to the Maple Row Sugar House near Three Rivers for the annual Michigan Maple Syrup Festival next weekend. You can also head to Blandford Nature Center for some maple syrup activities.

If your child loves to read or you want to teach him to read in a fun way, head to the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum for Literacy Month. The museum will invite narrators and other literacy activities that are included in the common entrance.

If you want to enjoy a laugh, check out The Comedy Project on Leonard Street in Grand Rapids. Fun comedy shows are expected this weekend, including crazy and smashing shows as well as an impromptu show.
