Emily Mazaris says she could not have imagined that the sale of Girl Scout cookies in Livonia would lead her to become a successful owner of her own company M Street Baking Co.

Now she wants to give back to the local scout troops to encourage the next generation.

“For us to be able to help the Girl Scouts sell their cookies, it’s really cool,” she said. “To help build young women entrepreneurs.”

As a way to give back to the Girl Scouts in 2021, Mazaris purchased cookies for the Girl Scouts and made cocktails with seasonal sweets at her company. The Mazaris business produces a variety of specialty cocktails, in addition to scout cookie treats that sell for $ 12.

Following the success of last year’s Scout Cookies, Mazaris began this year with a post on Facebook in February – urging Scout troops to come and sell their cookies so Mazarin could do it again.
