GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Meijer is seeking products from Midwestern chefs and cooks to be featured in its Frederik’s by Meijer line of innovative premium foods.
Meijer launched its Frederik’s by Meijer brand in October 2021, and the retailer says its popularity continues to grow.
The Frederik’s brand strives to reflect the high standards and unique vision of its namesake, Fred Meyer, the retailer’s co-founder and creator of the first-ever one-stop shopping experience.
To comply, manufacturers must exclude retail-ready products made in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, or Wisconsin.
The products must embody the great taste and high-quality ingredients that the brand stands for to create a great consumer experience and an unforgettable event.
Made in the Midwest products aim to show Meyer’s desire to support local businesses and grow with the community.

The Meijer team will select finalists to participate in training before presenting their products to Meijer retailers at an in-person event later this fall.
