Meridian Township, Michigan (WLNS) – Starting today, Meridian township will no longer need staff and visitors wear masks in municipal buildings.

The only exception will be the town hall in the municipal building of the town of Meridian or any other meeting place in the township where social distance cannot be maintained.

A temporary mask will also be required according to instructions for employees allowed to return from quarantine or isolation.

“The camouflage protocol may be different for emergency services, medics and other village workers working in the field, or those who have to enter private homes or buildings to work,” the official website of Meridian Township said.
