In honor of March, which marks women’s history, women are encouraged to dust off the crown, fix it and firmly put it on their heads this month and beyond, reminding themselves that they are queens and should be celebrated, especially by themselves, daily.

The theme of this year’s Women’s History in 2022, “Provide Healing, Promote Hope,” the month serves as a tribute and reminder of the endless work done by guardians and workers at the forefront during the pandemic. Most deserving of recognition are the thousands of women of all cultures who have provided both healing and hope throughout history, the press release said.

But this is nothing new for women who have served as caregivers for centuries.

“Women as healers date back to ancient times. Healing is a personal experience of overcoming suffering and transforming it into wholeness. “Although the word ‘selfish’ has negative connotations, I use it deliberately because I think it’s important to know that taking care of yourself and meeting your needs is normal,” Weinstein said, adding that one thing needs to be done. Stand in front of a mirror and ask yourself, “What do I want? What do I need? How can I make myself feel better at the moment? ”

She added that writing down the answers is “even better” and a great start for self-determination of priorities.

Step 2: Write down a few things that are a priority in your life.

“It can help highlight things that are important to you, then look at the list and think about everything you did last week. Was any of what you did related to the list? Let’s even be more specific and ask ourselves if what you did last week was related to the three main things that are important to you or that you want to achieve, ”Weinstein added.

Step 3: Find out what is holding you back from your potential.

“For most people, fear and anxiety are at the root of why they don’t make themselves a priority,” Weinstein said, adding that “whatever stands in your way, ask yourself again why.”

Step 4: What will make me happy?

“Keep asking yourself, what do I need to do to get there?” Weinstein said he is happy, adding that it is easy to live on autopilot, but it’s time to break out of it and push harder to get to this space of happiness.

“Often making yourself a priority isn’t easy, and maybe it involves talking to a therapist who can help you better understand what you really want,” she said.
