GRAND REPIDS, Michigan (WOOD) – After Gilda’s LaughFest became completely virtual in 2021, it will start again in Grand Rapids.

This year’s festival, which will take place from March 16 to 20, will feature more than 50 events, many of which are personal.

There are some free events and donation-based events, while others, including many stand-up comedy shows, will require attendees to purchase a ticket.

Events on Wednesday features KaraJOKEe, Night at the Museum, Pure Comedy Showcase at the Wealthy Theater, Yoga of Laughter and more.

Headliner Brent Maureen will also perform two stand-up comedy shows at Gun Lake Casino at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets for this show can be purchased here.

Anyone attending personal events will be required to present a valid photo ID issued by the government and a vaccination card or negative test for COVID-19. Full COVID security protocols for the festival can be found online LaughFest website.

Revenue from LaughFest and Fives from LaughFest support Gilda’s Club, which provides free support to cancer patients, survivors, and their families. This year, Meyer equals every dollar donated to the 2022 High Five campaign to $ 20,000.
