ONGC Recruitment 2022: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) Ahmedabad Asset hiring candidates for the positions of junior consultant (level E1 – E3) and associate consultant (level E4 – E5). 24 vacancies are offered. The candidate must be under 65 years of age at the time of engagement. The award will range from Rs. 40000 to Rs.66000.

Roles and Responsibilities
The consultant will be assigned to a rotating duty schedule and will be responsible for the full supervision of all Over Over activities such as:
i) Adequate inspection of the installation and its equipment;
ii) careful control of all operations at the installation;
iii) Installation, operation and maintenance in safe working order of all equipment in the mine;
iv) To ensure compliance with the Oil Mines Regulations, adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), statutory guidelines and the Mines Act.
v) Regular updating of QHSE documentation.
vi) Site inspection and supervision of site preparation, location of rig on site, smooth operation of operations in coordination with installation supervisor and other departments, preparation of pipe count and completion report etc.

Engagement period ONGC Recruitment 2022
Cooperation is based exclusively on the basis of a contract for a period of 01 (one) year from the date of entry. Contract engagement will be subject to medical fitness of ONGC.

Experience for ONGC Recruitment 2022
1. Retired ONGC Executives with relevant operational experience and relevant qualifications eg:
a) For production positions: ONGC Retirees at E1 to E3 for Junior Consultants and E4 to E5 for Associate Consultants in Mining/Drilling Discipline with minimum 5 years experience in Field/Drilling Operations.
b) For mechanical posts: ONGC Retirees at E4 to E5 level in Mechanical Discipline with minimum 5 years of experience on/Drilling Field Operations.
c) For instrument positions: Retired ONGC E4 to E5 persons in Instrumentation Discipline with minimum 5 years experience on / Rigs / Field / Plants as Instrumentation Engineer.
(*If the required number of E4-E5 candidates are not available, E6 candidates will also be considered for participation with the award limited to E5 based on their consent.)
Salary for ONGC Recruitment 2022
Junior consultant (level E1 – E3)
Total award Rs.40000 pm. (all inclusive) + Rs. 2000 (maximum) for communication facilities against submission of bill.
Associate Consultant (Level E4 to E5)
Total award Rs.66000 pm. (all inclusive) + Rs. 2000 (maximum) means of communication against presentation of bill.
Selection procedure for ONGC Recruitment 2022
The following eligibility/selection criteria were proposed:
i) The Selection Committee will adopt the following selection criteria for scoring the candidates for selection:-
a) The written test must be conducted in pen format. The question will be bilingual (English and Hindi) with the target type being multiple choice questions. You have to answer 20 questions in just 60 minutes. Four points are given for each question, and there is no negative mark for wrong answers.
b) A minimum of 28 marks out of 80 marks as qualifying marks to be obtained by the candidate in the written examination.
c) Minimum 60% (ie minimum 12 marks out of 20) will be the qualifying marks to be obtained by the candidate at the time of interaction/interview.
d) Offer of engagement will be issued to the selected candidate based on overall merit.
