Noah Mills, who dressed as Batman and has appeared in various parts of Livingston County, is facing charges related to his status atMichigan Police Department Sex Offender Registry.
The 46-year-old Mills is accused of failing to comply with registry requirements, such as updating his address, according to court records. He is accused in one constituency of failing to register as a sex offender and of failing to report as a sex offender.
Mills has not yet been brought to trial and has no lawyer. He did not immediately call back to comment.
According to court records, Mills of Brighton pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal sexual conduct in 1995 for assaulting a child under 15 years of age.
He is required to be on the register for life and must verify his address four times a year.
Under state regulations, the Mill is also not allowed within 1,000 feet of the school.
For several months in 2021 Mills often appeared in different places and allowed children to be photographed with him. The Livingston Daily newspaper featured it in a story in January.
