LANSING, MICHIGAN (WLNS) – Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel talks about the huge opioid national settlement in Lansing.

It is joined by officials from Ingham County to highlight the positive impact of the settlement.

Nessel is breaking the $ 26 billion opioid deal with the country’s three major pharmaceutical distributors – Cardinal, McKesson and AmerisourceBergen – and manufacturers Johnson & Johnson.

More specifically, she will highlight the positive impact it will have on Michigan in the fight against the opioid epidemic.

Mayor Lansing Andy Shore, Ingham County Health Officer Linda Vale and Ingham County Commissioner Todd Tennis.
