HOWELL – A Howell man has been charged with aggravated sexual assault after an August incident at a Genoa Township home.

Travis Tucker, 26, was arraigned in Livingston District Court on Wednesday on two counts each of first- and second-degree sexual misconduct, as well as third-degree domestic violence and assault with intent to inflict serious bodily injury, less than murder. .

If convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison. Bond was set at $250,000 cash or surety. A probable cause conference is scheduled for 8 a.m. on October 18, 2022, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. on October 25.

During the attack, Tucker pinned the woman to the ground and covered her mouth, preventing her from breathing, according to testimony during the hearing that led to the charges. She hit her head on the bed, injuring herself.
